Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Grants Administrator to join our team in the City of Long Beach, CA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing grant programs, coordinating funding, and developing strategies to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage grant programs to support community-based initiatives
  • Coordinate with city departments, funders, and stakeholders to establish annual and multi-year funding plans
  • Develop internal and external policies, practices, and guidelines for funding requests and recommendations
  • Lead the administration, coordination, and monitoring of funding and resources for various programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration or closely related field
  • Three years of paid full-time professional experience in grant program coordination, project management, and services
  • Experience with Department of Housing and Urban Development grant funding and program regulations (desired)
  • Experience providing services directly to vulnerable populations and/or facilitating Homeless services programs (desired)
