  As a Produce Associate Store Leader at Whole Foods Market in Doylestown, PA, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. About the Role:
  In this role, you will assist the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects as assigned. You will lead and develop Team Members to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets. Additionally, you will analyze sales reports and labor data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  
  • •  Develops and maintains creative store layouts and product merchandising strategies that drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
      
  • Works with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and analyzes sales reports and labor data to inform strategic decisions.
      
  • Maintains good vendor relationships, develops new vendor relations, and ensures all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
      
  • Functions as the point person and departmental leader in absence of the Team Leader, ensuring seamless operation and effective communication with the team.
      
  • Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution, fostering a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
      
  • Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
      
  • Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations to support individual growth and development.

Requirements:
  
  • •  18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
      
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy.
      
  • Growth mindset towards greater responsibility and ownership.
      
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
      
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
  
  • •  Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
      
  • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
      
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
      
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
