About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Universal Lacrosse. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers leave our store satisfied.

Job Position:

Retail Store Associate (PT) - Doylestown

Position Overview
  • To excel in this role, candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out.
  • You will help identify customer needs and answer questions about our products, showcasing your product knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.
  • Your goal will be to ensure that customers have an excellent shopping experience and leave our store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Lacrosse experience is a plus, but not mandatory for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct customers to the correct areas of the store.
  • Provide accurate information (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services) to customers.
  • Answer customers' questions about specific products/services, demonstrating your expertise and knowledge.
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked and visually appealing, maintaining a tidy store environment.
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services, ensuring you are knowledgeable about our offerings.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role (Preferred but not required).
  • Understanding of the retail sales process, including handling transactions and processing returns.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with customers.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments, remaining calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school degree or currently enrolled in High School, with a focus on customer service and sales.
