Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team at JBS International. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for research and evaluation tasks, ensuring accountability for significant deliverables on contracts, and providing thought leadership in the field of applied research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research designs and methodologies, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and contractual requirements.
  • Lead and manage research teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct data analysis, including inferential statistics, simulations, and qualitative data analysis.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
  • Prepare and present research findings to various audiences, including clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge and expertise to inform research and project design.
Requirements
  • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in research and evaluation.
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, with attention to detail and target audience focus.
  • English fluency (oral and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions

This is a remote position, requiring the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a virtual team. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple deadlines and priorities.
