Diabetes Educator Specialist

Job Summary
The Diabetes Educator Specialist at JSA will provide expert education and counseling to clients with diabetes, collaborating with the care team to positively impact patient and organizational outcomes related to diabetes care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide education and counseling to clients with diabetes
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient education plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest diabetes guidelines and technologies
- Work with inter-professional care teams to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
- Diabetes Educator experience
- BLS Certification and PA Registered Nurse License
- CDE or CDCES Certification within 12 months of hire
