Job Overview

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to support various Human Resource functions and meet strategic, tactical, and administrative HR objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of employee relations, and strong analytical abilities to support HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent application of Company HR-related policies.
  • Coach associates and management through complex issues, providing guidance on disciplinary action and assisting with on-site investigations.
  • Oversee MyOpportunity for hourly recruitment and onboarding.
  • Maintain and coordinate associate recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Regularly review HR activity reports.
  • Support internal customer surveys and associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process.
  • Attend department manager meetings to increase HR visibility, conduct classroom training, and implement HR initiatives.
  • Review requests for pay increases or status changes to ensure internal equity and consistency.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and present HR-related topics and training.
  • Act as the diversity champion, leading assigned tasks and corporate diversity activities.
  • Assist in creating Personal Development Plans for associates.
  • Participate in the Annual Performance Appraisal process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred.
  • Three plus years of human resources generalist experience required; management experience a plus.
  • HR experience at a large, multi-unit organization required.
  • Previous experience in a centralized HR environment, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Training certification a plus (i.e., Zenger-Miller, Stephen Covey, etc.).
