Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Pratt Industries, a leading manufacturer of corrugated packaging solutions, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing all employment-related duties, including interviewing, hiring, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct all phases of employment, including recruitment, interviewing, testing, and placement of personnel.
  • Administer all employee benefits, including insurance and compensation.
  • Serve as the primary source of contact for managers, employees, and legal counsel on all human resource-related matters.
  • Maintain and administer all HR reports and records, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Compute, post, and maintain reports related to employee leave and absences.
  • Oversee the Safety Director and assist in completing paperwork for work-related incidents.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Five years of experience as a HR generalist in a management position.
  • Four-year college degree.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree in HR Administration.
  • Experience in manufacturing.

  • Excellent crisis management skills, with high emotional control under adverse conditions.
  • Excellent employee relations skills, including active listening, positive and corrective feedback, and conflict resolution.

  • Professional appearance, supporting the role as a managerial representative.
