Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager

Maplecrest Ford Lincoln is seeking a dynamic Used Car Manager to oversee our pre-owned vehicle department. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, fostering team development, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the inventory of used vehicles, ensuring optimal presentation and readiness for sale.
- Conduct daily assessments of sales leads and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Establish and maintain standards for vehicle appraisals, ensuring competitive pricing.
- Engage in regular communication with management regarding trade-in vehicles and market trends.
- Guide the sales team in closing deals and building lasting customer relationships.
- Utilize industry software and CRM tools to track sales performance and inventory management.
- Set sales targets and monitor progress to achieve departmental goals.
- Organize and lead sales meetings, providing training and support to the sales team.
- Ensure all vehicles are displayed attractively and are ready for customer viewing.
- Assist in the approval of sales contracts and support the closing process.
- Review and strategize advertising and promotional efforts with the sales team.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for operational control.
- Minimum of three years in automotive sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and enhancing profitability.
- At least one year of experience in used vehicle sales with comprehensive vehicle knowledge.
- Three years of experience managing dealership inventory.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the dealership effectively.
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills, fostering trust and satisfaction.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
- Willingness to accept constructive feedback for personal growth.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and multitasking.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
