Job Summary

As a vital member of our hospitality team, the Room Attendant is responsible for upholding the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations to ensure a pleasant experience for all visitors. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly cleans and prepares guest rooms for occupancy, adhering to established cleaning protocols.
  • Maintains and replenishes cleaning carts with necessary supplies to efficiently service assigned rooms.
  • Accurately completes daily reports, noting the status of each room and addressing any maintenance issues or supply shortages.
  • Ensures guest and property security by keeping room doors locked and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Assists with additional tasks as directed by the Executive Housekeeper, including but not limited to cleaning public areas, managing laundry tasks, and training new staff.
  • Maintains a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Handles guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Secures the linen room and keeps the linen cart organized according to company standards.
  • Reports any lost and found items to the supervisor.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess a strong sense of integrity and reliability. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Physical demands of the role include the ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs, as well as perform various cleaning tasks efficiently.
