Senior Relationship Manager

The Senior Relationship Manager will be a key member of our Healthcare, Education & Not-for-Profit Team, which covers our clients and prospects in the West region. This team is part of the Global Commercial Bank and is responsible for providing advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects. The Senior Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing an extensive portfolio of HENFP clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion and helping companies save, borrow, and invest for their current and future needs. The Senior Relationship Manager will also be responsible for acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships. Additionally, the Senior Relationship Manager will collaborate with domestic and international teammates throughout the bank, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management, and facilitate client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions to clients and prospects. The Senior Relationship Manager will also lead and facilitate dialogue with a variety of complex clients and prospects regarding topics such as the client and prospect industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues. The Senior Relationship Manager will also coach and mentor peers, while utilizing leadership skills. The Senior Relationship Manager will adapt to changes in sales practices and broader market and industry conditions as needed. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience in broad-based commercial lending/corporate finance/relationship management experience and will have a proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships, and closing profitable transactions. The ideal candidate will also have professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution, and follow-up of client meetings. The ideal candidate will also have strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen, as well as financial modeling experience and the completion of a formal credit training. The ideal candidate will also have outstanding oral and written communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, and the ability to organize, facilitate, lead, and negotiate with a team of bank associates to solve client problems. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 licenses within 180 days of start date. The ideal candidate will also have an undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, and an MBA is desirable. The ideal candidate will also have existing knowledge of the market and will be an active member/participation in local community organizations. The ideal candidate will also have highly desirable to have active networking contacts and Centers of Influence established in the market. The ideal candidate will also have a desire to work in a specialty team with an interest in Healthcare, Education & Not-for-Profit institutions. The ideal candidate will also be able to work in a 1st shift (United States of America) and will have 40 hours per week.
