About the Role:

We are currently looking for a full-time IT Services Consultant to offer software and hardware advisory services to our clients in the DC metro area.

This position is ideal for an IT professional seeking diverse and stimulating challenges. It is a hybrid role that may involve travel to client sites within the DC metro area several days a week, where you will deliver significant value to each client you assist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist DelCor's clients by developing a comprehensive understanding of their networks and leading problem and incident management efforts.
  • Collaborate with client leadership to create and support an IT strategy.
  • Work with various teams at client locations to ensure the integrity of network infrastructure.
  • Provide proactive updates on client statuses to DelCor's leadership team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, becoming their trusted resource for network and system inquiries.
  • Manage and troubleshoot: Servers, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, Desktops, Remote Access, Email Services (Office 365), and Networks.
  • Lead on issues and handle escalations from the IT Services Desk.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients through timely ticket resolutions, regular updates, and professional communication.
Preferred Experience/Training:
  • A minimum of 4 years of recent hands-on experience with Microsoft networks and back-office systems (MCSE/A 2012 or later).
  • Recent hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Office 365, Windows Server (2012, 2016, and 2019), and workstations (Windows 10) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, domain controllers, IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, and remote access is required.
  • Experience in large network environments, with a willingness to work in smaller office settings.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A professional demeanor and a commitment to delivering high-quality service are crucial.
