Job Summary:

Ceco Environmental is seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. As a Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for welding and grinding steel and light gauge sheet metal materials, including low carbon steel, stainless steel, zinc-coated carbon steel, and other commonly used alloy steels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently perform Tig and Mig welding tasks
  • Assemble and weld using blueprints and technical drawings
  • Move or assist in moving mechanical assemblies
  • Modify and/or make minor assemblies
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience in welding and assembly is required
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Mathematics skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
  • Knowledge of machines and tools used in metal fabrication, such as cut-off wheels, grinders, saws, and cranes
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
Work Environment:

This is a full-time, non-union position located in Clearwater, FL.
