In the role of a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a crucial part in meeting production demands, managing materials, and executing repairs as directed by management.

It is essential to thrive in a collaborative environment. Candidates should possess prior experience in welding, fabrication, repair, forklift operation, and safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to fabricate large interstate signage using aluminum sheets.
  • Each sign is constructed from individual panels that are mechanically joined using aluminum extrusions.

Daily Tasks Include:
  • Cutting aluminum sheets and extrusions to specified dimensions for sign creation.
  • Drilling holes in sign panels and aluminum components.
  • Applying reflective films and graphics to signage.
  • Interpreting detailed shop drawings.
  • Assembling and constructing large signage.

Important Note:

This position does not involve welding. While we do not currently perform welding, many skills associated with welding or fabrication are relevant and applicable.


Qualifications:
  • Experience with basic tools such as miter/chop saws, tape measures, drill presses, and hand drills is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Experience Requirements:

While previous experience is not mandatory, candidates with backgrounds in construction, including welding, metal fabrication, sign fabrication, or related trades, are encouraged to apply.
