Job Summary

CECO Environmental is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding and assembling steel and light gauge sheet metal materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently perform Tig and Mig welding operations to ensure high-quality results.
  • Assemble and weld metal components using blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Move or assist in moving mechanical assemblies to ensure efficient production.
  • Modify and/or make minor assemblies as required.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in welding and assembly is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Mathematics skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools used in metal fabrication, such as cut-off wheels, grinders, saws, and cranes.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with no travel requirements.
