Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at CECO Environmental. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding and assembling steel and light gauge sheet metal materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiently perform Tig and Mig welding operations to ensure high-quality results.
  • Assemble and weld metal components using blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Move or assist in moving mechanical assemblies to facilitate efficient production.
  • Modify and/or make minor assemblies as required to meet production needs.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Prior experience in welding and assembly is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Mathematical skills, including knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools used in metal fabrication, such as cut-off wheels, grinders, saws, and cranes.
  • Strong understanding of the English language, including grammar, composition, and vocabulary.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time, non-union position with no travel requirements.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $24 - $26 per hour.
