Job Summary

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects, working closely with the Sales Manager and Project Managers to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Monitor project work for compliance with codes, engineering practices, and ACCO standards
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between project team members, including external customers and vendors
  • Assist with estimating, change directive pricing, job cost forecasting, billings, and close-out documentation
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department on scope, price, submittals, and delivery for purchased items
  • Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure project progress on schedule and on budget
  • Escalate potential problems and assist the Sr. Project Manager in driving solutions to their complete resolution
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of industry experience or a combination of experience and education
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent oral and written business communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular sitting and standing, as well as the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and distance vision.

Work Environment

This is a non-exempt position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional overtime may be necessary.

Travel

This position requires 0-5% travel to regional branch offices and/or project/customer sites.
