Overview:

The Supervisor of Revenue Cycle is tasked with overseeing and orchestrating team efforts within the Revenue Cycle division at CHRISTUS Health. This role collaborates closely with the management team and acts as a pivotal resource for innovation, staff development, and process enhancement. The Supervisor is responsible for providing coaching, constructive feedback, and necessary corrective actions to PFS Associates to cultivate a high-performing team.

This position demands adherence to the highest ethical and moral standards, acting in the best interests of CHRISTUS Health while fully embodying the organization's core values of Dignity, Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, and Stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill the expectations outlined in the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Oversee the activities of PFS associates by empowering them, providing guidance, and leading by example.
  • Ensure service level expectations are met for assigned teams by assessing key performance indicators.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations related to assigned responsibilities.
  • Review and update current processes to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally across all organizational levels, escalating pertinent information to leadership and both internal and external customers.
  • Identify trends or issues and propose viable solutions.
  • Actively engage in PFS projects and system enhancements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex application or operational issues.
  • Adopt a broad perspective when addressing challenges, utilizing a global lens.
  • Maintain performance under tight deadlines.
  • Work independently and make informed, timely decisions based on experience and process guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Possess good technical skills with various MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the capacity to develop advanced skills in different applications.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Showcase exceptional organizational skills, including effective time management and process improvement.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and proficiency in navigating Healthcare EMR and support systems, with a solid understanding from both an end-user and technical perspective.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, working collaboratively to positively influence outcomes.
  • Exhibit assertive and diplomatic communication skills, with a proven ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • 0 – 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • 4 years of relevant technical experience preferred.
