The primary objective is to facilitate the resolution and reconciliation of outstanding balances associated with patient accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit proficiency in the essential competencies: Self-Leadership, Team Leadership, or Executive Leadership.
  • Execute Revenue Cycle tasks in alignment with the organization's performance benchmarks.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental quality and productivity standards.
  • Gather and relay patient and payer information to assist in account resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Government Mandated Regulations related to claims submission, conducting necessary research to ascertain proper governmental requirements.
  • Address all types of account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic communication.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of insurance and self-pay billing practices, as well as follow-up protocols for third-party payers.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in healthcare is essential, particularly in the areas outlined below.

The primary aim of this role is to ensure the resolution of accounts and the reconciliation of outstanding patient account balances.

Experience in cash posting, customer service, data entry, and claims review for accurate billing and collections is required.
