Assistant Building Engineer

As a CBRE Assistant Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and requires a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless building operations and resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Universal EPA certification preferred; additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC systems a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
