About the Role

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and requires a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless building operations.
  • Develop and implement energy management programs to reduce energy consumption.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school training or associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of related experience, preferably in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Universal EPA certification preferred.
  • Additional certifications in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 50 pounds or more.
