About This Role

The Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in driving business strategy and promoting a high-performance culture at Comscore. This position will work closely with internal HR partners and business leaders to identify, develop, and execute solutions across the full spectrum of HR disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence, fostering a work environment where employees feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Partner with the Human Resources team and internal clients to formulate and drive execution of HR plans in support of business strategy, participating in the development and improvement of HR programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
  • Serve as advisor, coach, and partner to the management team of assigned departments, providing HR expertise and solutions in matters related to employee relations, career development, workplace ethics, compensation, and performance management.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Engage in the design and execution of the performance management process, providing expertise and direction to the organization.
  • Provide guidance and consultation on organizational restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Address employee relations issues and complaints, including investigation into and resolution of formal employee complaints.
  • Assist with global mobility and visa sponsorship actions.
  • Interpret and advise on the application of federal laws (such as EEO, ADA) partnering with internal and external counsel where necessary.
  • May oversee, train, and/or mentor other members of the HR team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially organization development, change management, and employee relations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive, professional HR experience with demonstrated competency in employee relations and effective business partnership.
  • A broad knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex issues and projects concurrently.
  • Excellent coaching, influencing, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing effective solutions to business issues.
  • Proven ability to form strong partnerships with internal clients and partners.
  • Ability to travel periodically based on the needs of the business.
