About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Specialist to join our NAPA team. As a key member of our retail store team, you'll be the go-to person for all automotive needs, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to retail and wholesale customers on automotive parts and services
  • Assist other team members in answering customer questions and resolving issues
  • Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Welcome retail customers into our stores and engage with them to provide a personalized experience
  • Utilize technology, including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems, to efficiently manage customer transactions
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or a related field, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise in automotive parts
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems, including heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, and dealership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems, a plus
