- Participate in strategy discussions and represent the firm to internal and external constituents, exhibiting the highest ethical and professional behavior.
- Lead client representative responsible for client satisfaction, ensuring that all team members, Vertex and outside consultants and contractors, meet their commitments to clients.
- Participate as senior leaders in staffing decisions and implement the direction of the team.
- Take a leading role in representing the firm with all current and prospective clients, promoting the firm at all industry or related events.
- Respond immediately to all concerns expressed by clients concerning Vertex service and assure staff urgency.
- Take an active role in business development operations, including prospecting, proposal development, and interviews.
- Lead proposal and interview team, providing strategy, guidance, and preparation to all pursuits.
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction project management is required, though considerable years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 10 years in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role. Owner's Representative / Construction Manager experience is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in the delivery of large complex projects with significant experience in either design and/or construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of construction budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management and construction software.
- Annualized salary range of $200,000 to $250,000 per year.
