Job Description

Hellas Construction, a leading sports construction company in North America, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive national growth in the Los Angeles, CA market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a strong background in sales and a passion for the sports and construction industries. Previous experience in prospecting and selling in these sectors is a plus. This role offers a competitive base salary plus aggressive commission structure, with opportunities for unlimited earning potential.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include:

  • Traveling approximately 75% to drive new business growth
  • Targeting, qualifying, and pursuing leads in accordance with company strategy and techniques
  • Planning and executing sales calls, appointments, and site visits
  • Developing and implementing effective business plans and strategies for assigned territory growth
  • Mastering value selling and ROI discussions to close new accounts
  • Providing accurate weekly forecasting and communicating regularly with Sales Management
  • Serving as a liaison between clients, Marketing, Sales Management, and other departments
  • Attending company meetings, trainings, tradeshows, events, and promotions
  • Developing a solid understanding of product lines and competitive selling points
  • Studying patterns and trends to assess competitive presence in our industry

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous experience and success in prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts in a construction environment is preferred. Previous sales experience is required. Landscaping sales experience a plus
  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM experience preferred
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Motivated, driven personality with the ability to work autonomously to deliver results

This position requires extensive travel within your designated region. Comprehensive training and onboarding program provided.

This is a base plus commission opportunity. Base salary will be determined upon candidates' previous sales experience and market experience.
