Assistant General Manager

Join Slutty Vegan, Inc. as we revolutionize the fast-casual vegan experience. We're seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to partner with our General Manager in driving operational excellence and achieving strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in day-to-day staff management, mentorship, and P&L management to elevate the customer service experience and internal culture.
  • Support the GM in recruitment and development of Red Shirts & Crew members, enforcing operating systems and onboarding new staff.
  • Assist in creating weekly staff schedules, setting service standards, and implementing systems for smooth operation.
  • Partner with the GM to assess business performance, provide reports, and develop action plans to optimize profit, minimize margins, and promote exceptional experiences for staff and customers.
  • Manage and implement effective policies to ensure restaurant cleanliness meets State Health Code Standards.
  • Teach crew members day-to-day responsibilities, conduct pre-shift standups, and assess, appraise, and discipline staff as needed.
  • Ensure customer relations are executed to the level of service synonymous with our mission and resolve customer complaints & correspondence.
  • Partner with the GM & Health & Safety leaders to follow local, government, and regional compliance and abiding by legal standards to create a safe and inviting space for guests and staff.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years management experience in a fast-casual restaurant concept.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Proficiency in technology software and systems, i.e., POS and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Assist in proper inventory management, effective system of ordering, and maintaining pars.
  • Must be ServSafe certified.
Preferred Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of Restaurant 365, Jolt, Seven Shifts, Toast, and Dolce.
