About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Slutty Vegan, Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and achieving our strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff management, mentorship, and customer service.
  • Partner with the GM to develop and implement effective systems for inventory management, labor control, and cost control.
  • Support the recruitment and development of staff, including onboarding and training programs.
  • Assist in creating weekly staff schedules and ensuring a smooth operation.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure restaurant cleanliness meets State Health Code Standards.
  • Manage and implement effective policies to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Assess business performance on a regular basis and provide reports to the GM.
  • Develop and implement action plans to support operational improvements and optimize profit.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of management experience in a fast-casual restaurant concept.
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Proficiency in technology software and systems, including POS and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Ability to support and teach staff how to perform day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of Restaurant 365, Jolt, Seven Shifts, Toast, and Dolce.
