Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) Job Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) to join our team for an immediate travel position in Austin, TX. As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
  • Interact with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • NBRC-RRT certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and NRP certifications may be required in some areas
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and move patients (up to 50 pounds at times)
