About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior User Interface Designer to join our Experience Design team at Truist Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in creating world-class services and experiences for our clients and teammates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry-leading experiences for our clients, teammates, and the business.
  • Participate in design-driven programs to define insights, create solutions, and advocate for client needs.
  • Design and deliver artifacts across a variety of environments, leveraging strong knowledge of design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices.
  • Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment, developing an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
  • Use storytelling and persuasion techniques to build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in the field (may include equivalent education).
  • Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making.
  • Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards.
  • Excellent time and issue management skills.
  • Experience creating artifacts and executing ideas.
  • Strong ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback.
  • Proficiency in applicable software applications.
  • English language fluency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interacting with creative teams, business owners, and technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of engineering/development processes, particularly Agile.
  • Comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
  • A strong passion for improving people's lives through design.
