Job Summary

The Lead Radiology Technologist is a key member of the imaging department, responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to imaging department staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize leadership skills to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement training programs.
  • Collaborate with other health team members to implement Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Operate ionizing radiation-producing equipment, adhering to license regulations from the Bureau of Radiation Control of the State of Texas.
  • Perform all skills in Radiology technologist job description.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT or ARRT Registry Eligible, Texas Medical License, and CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Technical expertise in radiology, with a focus on patient care and safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
