Sales Representative for Alabama and Mississippi Territory

Markem-Imaje is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the company's revenue growth in the Alabama and Mississippi territory.

The ideal candidate will utilize the MI proven sales process to develop a sales plan, manage existing customer accounts, and prospect for new customers within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a sales plan to cover all accounts effectively and efficiently within the assigned territory
  • Managing existing customer accounts and delivering robust results through consultative selling experience
  • Prospecting for new customers and generating new opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Identifying and retaining after-sales opportunities in the existing customer base
  • Learning and implementing the Markem-Imaje Sales Process, including all procedures and policies

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Administration, or Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the packaging and/or industrial manufacturing field
  • Enthusiasm and competitiveness with a passion for customers', products, solutions, and services
  • Technical aptitude with ability to learn new skills
  • Strong territory, sales pipeline, and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of CRM and MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and be a highly motivated self-starter
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Successful history in technical sales roles
  • Ability to demonstrate and sell the entire line of products, services, and software solutions
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and effectively handle competing priorities and timelines
  • Experienced in forecasting territory revenue monthly

Markem-Imaje offers a remote work arrangement and a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $98,000.00.
