  • Address and resolve guest concerns to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Oversee the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Safeguard any assigned keys, communication devices, and equipment.
  • Review daily assignments and update the status of completed tasks.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor and Housekeeping department for additional responsibilities during the shift.
  • Conduct a thorough inspection of the assigned area, removing any trash or debris.
  • Equip cleaning carts with necessary supplies and tools.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of storage closets; remove waste, clean surfaces, and ensure proper floor maintenance.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and equipment to sanitize designated areas.
  • Ensure that stairwells remain clear of any obstructions.
  • Transport food and beverage items from public areas to service locations.
  • Inspect under furniture for debris and remove as necessary; adjust furniture to align with the designated layout.
  • Assess the condition of all furnishings for any damage and report findings to the Supervisor.
  • Dust and polish all wooden surfaces.
  • Remove dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and beneath cushions.
  • Dust artwork, frames, mirrors, fire safety equipment, exit signs, and air vents.
  • Clean all lighting fixtures and switches, ensuring they are in proper working order.
  • Remove dust, stains, and smudges from windows, frames, and ledges; wash windows as assigned.
  • Clean public phones, ensuring they are free of dust and grime, and replace any soiled or damaged materials.
  • Dust drapes weekly and ensure they are properly aligned daily.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of plants and planters; remove debris and polish as needed.
  • Eliminate dust, dirt, marks, and fingerprints from doors and frames.
  • Clean baseboards, ledges, and corners, removing any stains or scuff marks.
  • Polish brass fixtures and empty waste receptacles in public areas.
  • Clear balconies and patios of trash and debris.
  • Maintain vacuum cleaners, ensuring bags are emptied and machines are cleaned after use. Sanitize public and employee restrooms, including mirrors, sinks, toilets, and floors.
  • Replenish restroom supplies, including facial tissues, paper towels, and soaps, in designated areas.
  • Sweep the main entrance daily.
  • Clean windows in public areas.
  • Maintain ceiling vents in public spaces.
  • Shampoo carpets and perform floor maintenance, including stripping and waxing.
  • Ensure the fitness center is clean and well-maintained daily.
  • Sweep and rinse the pool deck each day (if applicable).
  • Collect soiled towels from the pool area and return them to the laundry (if applicable).
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the Supervisor.
  • Turn in any lost and found items to the Supervisor.
  • Safeguard hotel property.
  • Ensure that all floor care equipment is thoroughly cleaned after use.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work experience.
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • A good understanding of the English language is required.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
