Client Support Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at a U-Haul center with products and services.
  • Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for managing rentals and inventory.
  • Move and connect U-Haul trucks and trailers.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels.
  • Answer inquiries and educate customers about products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring.
  • Fill propane (certification provided through U-Haul upon employment)
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided through U-Haul upon employment)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Engage in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
Client Support Specialist Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment:

The role involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be necessary.

Physical Demands:

The position requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching for objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, with or without assistance.
