Job Title: IT Desktop Support Specialist

Altorfer is seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and Office 365
  • Work with Microsoft Active Directory and user account management
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in desktop support
  • Certifications such as A+, MCP, MCDST, or CCNA are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office application software and Windows operating systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
