About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Specialist to join our Property & Casualty team in Cedar Rapids, IA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing daily client needs, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of client information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process certificates, binders, auto ID cards, and accident kits.
  • Order policy changes from carriers, update computer systems, and set follow-up activities.
  • Process endorsements by checking coverages, invoicing, and updating client management systems.
  • Keep follow-up activities current and review, process, and summarize audits.
  • Investigate and correct omitted items and commission differences on audits and endorsements.
  • Ensure account and policy accuracy by verifying customer information and items received from carriers.
  • Maintain monthly reporting forms and participate in contract review and renewal planning.
  • Review quotes on own accounts for accuracy and prepare proposal documents for clients.
  • Assist in gathering and preparing client renewal documents and saving to agency management systems.
  • Invoice agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
  • Develop and maintain positive work relationships with team members and interact with personnel throughout the agency and customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire.
  • Minimum 2+ years customer service, underwriting, or administrative experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
