Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Digital Content Producer to join our team at Paramount Unified School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and producing high-quality digital content for our website, social media channels, and streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a content strategy to engage our audience and drive traffic to our website
  • Write, edit, and produce news articles, videos, and social media posts
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics
  • Collaborate with our editorial team to plan and produce live and recorded content for our streaming platforms
  • Conduct research and gather information to support content creation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital content production
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital content production, preferably in a news or media organization
  • Strong writing, editing, and production skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in digital content distribution
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and adjust content strategy accordingly
  • College degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with content management systems and video editing software
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
