We are seeking skilled and passionate technicians who hold their RVT or VTS in Surgery. Our team consists of three Surgeons, three Surgery Residents, and a Surgery Intern, all committed to supporting your professional development in the field of Surgery.
VCA Animal Hospitals is recognized as a premier choice for referring veterinarians and pet owners across the region.
Our board-certified specialists, experienced ER veterinarians, advanced technicians, and compassionate staff collaborate to provide exceptional care for seriously ill and injured pets.
Job Type: Full-time, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week.
Salary: $34.00 per hour.
Additional Incentive: Competitive fees for after-hours emergency surgeries.
Allowance: $750 annually for continuing education and license reimbursement.
Referral Program: $1000 for RVTs & VTS (Rates may vary; inquire with the hiring manager for details).

Key Responsibilities:
- Place intravenous catheters
- Collect blood and urine samples
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients from anesthesia for advanced imaging and surgical procedures on both stable and critical patients
- Perform radiographic imaging
- Process laboratory samples both in-house and for external labs
- Communicate with clients regarding appointments, estimates, and discharges
