We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Marina Veterinary Center.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with exams and patient restraint
- Maintain accurate and clear medical records
- Perform catheter placement and phlebotomy
- Complete laboratory diagnostics as needed
- Perform wound care and anesthetize patients under veterinary supervision
- Deliver client education on veterinary care
- Support team members and train new employees
- Pursue continuing education opportunities
- At least 1 year of RVT experience
- Confidence with anesthesia monitoring, dental assisting, and pre/post op care
- RVT, LVT, or CVT certification required
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and calculations
