Director of Museum Exhibition Management

The Director of Museum Exhibition Management plays a critical role in leading the museum's exhibition planning and execution process. This senior-level position requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing exhibition plans, budgets, and schedules. They will also collaborate with curators, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful exhibition execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage exhibition budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with curators and designers to develop exhibition plans and designs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with artists, lenders, and other partners.
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and accessibility in all exhibitions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in art history, museum studies, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in exhibitions planning and management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale exhibitions and projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Compensation:
- $200,000 annual salary.
- Full-time, exempt position with 35 hours per week.
