Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Nursing Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality nursing care, adhering to physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to our facility's policies.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Assist physicians with rounds as needed and provide support during physical examinations and treatments.
  • Treatment and Documentation: Perform scheduled treatments and document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to all regulations pertaining to cleanliness, infection control, and Standard/Universal Precautions.
  • Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research related to quality nursing care and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
  • Record Keeping and Scheduling: Assist with records, orders, and assessment of new admissions, and ensure that patients' annual physicals are scheduled and documented timely.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, and current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications and Training: CPR certified yearly and ability to attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to supervise nursing assistants, provide quality-nursing care, and work well with patients, families, doctors, and other staff members.
