About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Government Technology Sales Executive to join our team at Spectrum Enterprise. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with government and education organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities with government and education organizations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within these organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and leverage this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in outside telecommunications-related sales or B2B sales.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the government and education markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data, voice, cloud, video solutions or premise-based sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with state and local government or education organizations.
