We are seeking a skilled PRN Speech Pathologist Specialist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. This role requires a graduate of an accredited university-based Speech/Language pathology program and a Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

Job Summary:

This position involves traveling between our Memorial City and Sugar Land outpatient facilities, providing coverage on weekdays and Saturdays as needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the evaluation and rehabilitation of patients with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with a physician's referral, accurately interpreting evaluation findings.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, re-assessing patient status and altering goals, plan, and program as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and family members, as well as professional colleagues.
  • Document patient progress and care in the medical record, completing other documentation duties efficiently.
  • Serve as a clinical resource to staff, hospitals, schools, and the community, acting as a clinical instructor to CFY and speech interns.
  • Assist in program development within the department, promoting individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.

Estimated salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
