Liberty POST is actively searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Speech Therapist to join our team, providing services to children aged birth to 5 years through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. We have immediate openings available in the Syracuse area.

Our team of over 500 professionals collaborates to provide evaluations, direct therapy, and family education through engaging, child-centered play. We prioritize the significance of a child's natural learning environment, the unique strengths and needs of families, and the diverse communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and document children's progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Conduct evaluations to establish realistic goals for each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatments, and progress using our Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Prepare detailed analyses and reports on each child's development.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper organization of children's records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all state regulations regarding Early Intervention and special education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current New York State Licensure and/or Certification in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Proficient in MS Word and comfortable with various computer systems.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Compensation:

Early Intervention Pay Rates:
30 minutes: $44-$46
60 minutes: $58-$60
Evaluation: $115-$120

CPSE Pay Rates:
30 minutes: $40-$45
60 minutes: $58-$60
Evaluation: $115-$120
