Position Overview:
This role will serve as a pivotal support to the Controller, with the potential to take full ownership of accounting processes. The focus will be on balance sheet management while driving efficiency improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily functions of the corporate accounting team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of financial systems, processes, controls, and procedures.
  • Guide the team through performance evaluations, training, and ensure the department operates effectively and efficiently.
  • Guarantee adherence to all reporting standards and requirements.
  • Set and execute departmental goals, objectives, and operational protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Great Plains software.
  • At least four years of supervisory experience is required.
