Key Responsibilities- Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influence on policy formulation.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Use high-level judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
- Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in design engineering.
- Composite component design experience.
- Master's degree.
- Composite manufacturing experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- FMEA (ANSYS solver, Hypermesh software, and CAD Modeling via NX PLM Teamcenter software) experience.
- Programming skills (C++, Matlab, Python,... or other equivalent software).
- Demonstrated leadership in defining the state of the art in at least one technical specialty, along with the ability to teach and set standard practices within composite Aerospace and/or Aviation products.
