Position Overview

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

PRN - Available for Day and Evening shifts.

We are seeking dedicated individuals who possess their Certified Nursing Assistant certification or are currently enrolled in a State-approved training program for certification.

We value professionals who are committed to treating residents with dignity and respect, as well as fostering positive relationships with fellow team members.

Responsibilities of a CNA include:

  • Monitor and report any changes in the health status of residents to the Charge Nurse.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities (such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and skin care) in accordance with their care plans.
  • Document all care provided and observations made during care.
  • Assist with personal grooming tasks including bathing, shaving, and hair care as directed.
  • Help residents move to and from chairs and beds, ensuring proper body mechanics are used.
  • Change the positions of residents who are bedbound.
  • Adhere to all infection control protocols as instructed.
  • Assist with meal service.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and write in English.
  • Exhibit physical capabilities such as bending, lifting, squatting, walking, and responding to calls and alarms.

QMA - Qualified Medication Aide responsibilities include:

  • Exercise sound judgment in administering medications as prescribed by the physician.
  • Demonstrate the ability to observe and report any adverse drug reactions experienced by residents.
  • Show proficiency in utilizing appropriate drug references.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of all medication carts and rooms, ensuring a tidy work environment.
  • Supervise nursing assistants when applicable.
  • Perform additional duties as outlined in the nursing assistant job description.
  • Participate in required training sessions.
  • Be vigilant in safeguarding the welfare of residents.
  • Encourage positive interactions among employees, residents, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to all call lights and alarms, treating each as a priority.
  • Ensure cleanliness of working areas and utility rooms, and properly store equipment as scheduled.
  • Report and document any incidents involving residents, employees, or visitors immediately to a supervisor.
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Nursing or their designee.

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour for PRN/CNA

$22.00 per hour for PRN/QMA

OVERTIME HOURS AVAILABLE

Job Types: PRN

  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or possess a Medical or Religious Exemption to be employed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
