Work Environment: The position includes hospital employment with an outpatient focus and a call ratio of 1:6 for telephone consultations. Physicians benefit from a competitive income guarantee, with additional incentives such as loan forgiveness and relocation bonuses.
Support and Resources: Continuing Medical Education (CME) time and funding are available, along with a comprehensive retirement plan. The practice utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records, ensuring efficient patient management.
Team Structure: Inpatient care is managed by the hospital's dedicated hospitalist program. Each physician is supported by 1-2 Medical Assistants (MAs) who handle paperwork and documentation, allowing physicians to concentrate on patient care. Additionally, a quality care RN reaches out to patients recently discharged from the hospital or transitioning from nursing facilities.
Recruitment Incentive: A $100,000 all-inclusive recruitment incentive is offered to attract qualified candidates.
