Professional Development Specialist - Ambulatory Nurse Educator

At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Specialist - Ambulatory Nurse Educator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing professional development expertise to our ambulatory staff.

Job Summary:
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice, you will provide professional development expertise to our ambulatory staff as an educator, change agent, leader, consultant, and facilitator.
  • You will be responsible for providing orientation, competency assessment, and continuing education to all clinical staff.
  • You will foster the empowerment of staff through knowledge and achievement of excellence through the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice.
  • You will continually assess the learning needs of all clinical staff, lead and maintain all clinical programs and courses, while evaluating the impact of their outcomes.
  • You will possess the ability to deliver information thoroughly and effectively utilizing a variety of teaching styles and techniques for the adult learner.
Requirements:
  • Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline.
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Other combination of education or experience may be considered.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Nsg Professional Maryland Registered Nurse Certification preferred.
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License.
  • American Heart Association CPR.
