JOB DESCRIPTION

General Objectives:

The Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for delivering outstanding post-sale support to our clientele.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Address post-delivery customer service inquiries.
  • Coordinate service technicians for in-home service appointments.
  • Inform customers of any pre-delivery damages or errors necessitating rescheduling.
  • Oversee all active customer service requests.
  • Maintain detailed service logs and records.
  • Track service requests by store, customer, designer, and service type.
  • Assist in generating service trend reports.
  • Process service requests for parts orders and repair/return orders.
  • Support return authorization paperwork and monitor for credit completion.
  • Collaborate with inventory control to manage damaged inventory appropriately.
  • Assist in coordinating reorders or repairs and service charge-backs.
  • Provide backup support to scheduling personnel.
  • Engage with store staff as necessary.
  • Deliver delivery and service update reports to store personnel.
  • Conduct post-service surveys with customers.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma is required; an Associate's degree in business or communications is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

1-2 years of retail experience with a focus on customer service.

Other Requirements:

Excellent communication and listening skills are essential. Ability to collaborate effectively with others. A solid understanding of Ethan Allen's products and warranties is necessary. Availability for holiday, evening, and weekend hours may be required.
