A key member of the front office team responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of six months in a similar role.
Ability to effectively perform the essential duties of a Patient Services Coordinator.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proficient in scheduling and appointment management.
Adhere to established protocols and standards.
Exhibit and encourage exceptional customer service skills.
Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic understanding of dental terminology is preferred.
Align with corporate vision and strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
Manage incoming calls with appropriate telephone etiquette.
Check patients in and out efficiently.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments as needed.
Complete all necessary documentation, including patient charts, referrals, appointment confirmations, welcome packets, and treatment plans.
Collect co-payments and outstanding balances at the time of service.
Clearly communicate financial policies and arrangements to patients.
Facilitate smooth patient flow through effective callback systems.
Identify and apply relevant insurance coverage and billing information.
Perform basic computer operations as required.
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
