Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiology

Quadrant Inc is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train staff on pre-visit planning protocols and conduct telephone triage following a script.
  • Process prescriptions and refills, and handle various cardiology clinical procedures including EKGs, Echos, and Stress Tests.
  • Compile appointment notes and send to referring providers, and track patients for value-based payments programs.
  • Train medical assistants and ensure service levels are met for Cardiology.
  • Manage patient records, document phone calls in EMR, and review patient medical records for prescribed medication histories.
  • Collaborate with management for improvement projects and determine action plans for cardiology patients.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience working in an ambulatory-private physician practice setting or med surge unit.
  • Experience working in the cardiology field and administering EKGs, Echos, and Stress Tests.
  • Licensed as an LPN in the District of Columbia.
